Lexus 430 - Can't hang with the L
 

I had a good one on the way home. I made a left turn off the hiway and proceeded down the road when off to my right and slightly behind me I noticed a brown something. It was gaining on me so I instinctively punched it. The brown thing had more momentum and it passed me by about 1/2 car length. I kept the peddle to the metal. I gradualy realed him in. Next thing, curve comes up, slow moving Caddy getting on the same two lane road as us. I quickly back off, this is a public road and not days of thunder. I catch up to the new Lexus 430 and see the guy pumping his fist to clebrate his victory over my red shop truck. Oh my, this bald headed guy with a small penis has been watching way to many Lexus commercials. Any way, I am now determined to smoke this guy. He pulls up to a stop sign and takes off. I finaly catch up to him at the next red light. Perfect. I roll down my window, he is smiling, still savoring his hollow victory. I motion him to roll down his window he does, I tell him to give it his best shot, he says ok. Light changes, I give it as much as I can without smoking the tires, and then nail it. I get a 1/2 car, then 1 then 2 then 3 car lengths. He finaly throws in the towel and waves from far behind. He pulls into the grocery store, I almost want to go back and see if he wants to give the mighty Lexus another chance. But then I figure why bother with this wanna be. Nothing like beating one of those over grown, over rated Toyoto products with a pick up truck! You just can't beat this truck!!!

Alphadoggy, I live in Huntington Beach as well. Near the intersection of Edwards and Garfield. This is right near where your friend lives. Let me know when you are in the area. Yes, I do know Jim, I bought my truck from him. Great guy. The whole deal took 1 hour total. After he drove my truck he decided he needed one too. So he bought one. I have cost Jim a LOT of money, but if he wasn't buying all those mods, what would he do?

Where in HB, Red? I have a good friend who lives on Dellglen Circle. Next time I go to visit him I'll have to look you up. I think Jim Shaw lives in HB, or thereabouts, too. Have you hooked up with him?
