I'm sure no one will be surprised, so I'll start.

Do you know what a "tape measure" is? Do you know how to use it?

I would have to go outside and measure mine to tell you, so why don't you do it and let us know.

Wink

Big enough to fit a tt.

http://carpoint.msn.com/Vip/Specific...F-150/2001.asp

Cargo Bed Dimensions SVT Lightning

Length (in.) 78.8

Width at Wheelwell (in.) 50

Width at Wall (in.) 65.2

Depth 20
Actually I think they are wrong on the Width at Wall. It should be 59.7, same as other Flaresides...

Thumbs up

it will hold 5 50lb (net) nitrous cylinders, if that is where you're going with this.

the 50lbs net (product) cylinders weigh 150lbs each (full). they are 5ft long and 5 across will interlock, so they can't come thru the cab, if you hit the brakes hard

It'll also hold half a College Cheerleading team.

Cool

That is not sad !! That is reality. These are trucks and that is what he is using it for !! A TRUCK. A truck is for hauling, pulling or whatever the owner wishes to do providing the truck can do it. He wishes to utilize the truck for what it was meant to be for. You guys wish to race them, him he puts it to work. There is no shame in that.

point of information--i will be racing this too--drag, autocross(unless it understeers too much), and driver's school(at road atlanta and/or roebling road race tracks) and the occasional burst of overexuberance on the street and interstate. but, i may need to carry that boat too(not at the same time). and, i'll be 62 in july--still drivin'...

L'ROD

I am autocrossing mine quite successfully. No understeer to worry about.

I did the whole "thing" this weekend.

My wife and the 2 year-old went along to Home Depot and bunch of garden supplies came back home with us on the Saturday. On Sunday I went to a autoX meeting and went 60.500 seconds on a course that a Z06 went a 59.8...

I've honestly had 10 people in my truck before. 10 people with me. I had three girls in the cab with me and then the rest of the people where in the bed of the truck. for a good 20 minute drive, under the ARE bed cover. needless to say they had one hell of a ride.
