Post Lightning Shift Kit

Just got the Lightning Steet/Strip shift kit, had it installed by a friend who has a lift, man, what a difference!!!! For $100 you can't beat it. Got it from Factory Tech (lives in same town as me, great guy).
Highly Reccomended, two thumbs up.

Thumbs up

John893,

Second gear with bark under light to medium throttle, kick side-ways at half throttle or spin all through second and into third under full throttle!! Take your pick!! I love mine.

Talking

I got mine from Factory_Tech a couple of weeks ago. Couldn't ask for better shifts!!! I love it. In town driving is great, then when you want it to throw you back in the seat, just mash the right foot!! Excellent job Factory_Tech!!!

Thanks,
Justin

I have a few people who called me after they said "oops" installing there own. I do the same thing as a Level 10 kit, but I do it for you and I'm $50 cheaper. And I know which spring goes where when I drop the body in mid-assembly and parts go everywhere. ("...did this one have 2 springs or just one, which color spring goes in which hole?", this happened to one "oops" customer)

I think I offer a great buy, and I would say that my customers are real happy.

SlowSUV, Landen huh?, We're neigbors, I live in Maineville (hopkinsville actually), I'm the Silver with the Ford Racing front plate, FASVT is Black with no plate on front, we live about 6 houses apart. He just pulled in the driveway the about a week ago when I was working in the garage and introduced himself. Hope to see you around, I'm going to Edgewater Friday to give it a few rips, you should go..

Other then the harder shifting does this mod have other benefits? Does it help the tranny run cooler? Has anyone noticed a drop in ET with the kit? I wouldn't expect a dyno to show improvement, but if the quicker shifting can drop ET's I'm definitely interested!

Doesn't affect shift points, it lowers shift duration, or the time it takes to make the shift, which aside from giving you a tehth or two in the 1/4 mile also reduces wear of the friction plates in the clutches.

After a lot of thought, I'm going to quit doing exchanges, they're a real pain and limit how many I can make ( I have a backlog now, waiting on cores), but I can more or less cut the price, so it'll be $150, no core charge, all new accumulators. I'll do exchanges for a few more weeks, but I want to get away from them. Also, if you want the deep plugged pan and filter it'll be $225, which is the break even point for me, I'm just charging what I pay for the pan and filter that way.

Thanks,

G

Please contact Steve at webmaster@f150online.com regarding becoming a Supporting Vendor. The vendor rules clearly discourage openly conducting business on these boards. https://www.f150online.com/f150board/faq.html#vendor

I closed this thread to prevent further marketing.

Additional Note: The rules here also prohibit a vendor (or anyone else) from create fake accounts or impersonating others. In this case, FASVT = Factory_Tech. I find this behavior to be sleezy, immature, unprofessional and deceitful. While I will not take any action against Factory_Tech, I have terminated the FASVT account and I will let the masses reach their own conclusions.
