Story you guy's might like, and what dual purpose is!!

The other day I was at a friend's shop when a old bud of our's pull's up with a S10 Blazer and the old 350 in it. He had come up there to race a friend of mine's LS1,but he didn't have his car,so he asked me to go bust his -ss(that's his words). Anyway we raced, I spun all the way through first and most of second, almost hit him twice and still put 5 lengths on him before I shut it down. Well this past weekend I went back up there to pick up my new project and low and behold he pull's up. It felt so cool to have a trailer and car hitched to my truck this time. Imagine that bustin -ss last week and towing car's this week. That IS daul purpose!!! By the way the Lightning tow's very well. Thanks Mike

Oh man, doncha love it? I don't know which is cooler, backing down the launch ramp with a 6500 lb. boat, or smacking down a Z28 after I unhitch.

george

How well did the L pull the 6500 lb. boat?

alphadoggy Feb 26, 2001 01:07 AM

Easily, Jim. I estimate that is the gross weight with full tanks, including trailer. But I have the Roadmaster active suspension, and I believe that is a great help. I wouldn't go over 5500 with a regular L.
