Whats the disadvantages and advantages for using a Roush kit on your Lightning?
Hi guys, I was just curious if I would notice a big differance in handling, if I were to install a Roush lowering kit to my L. Are there many adavantes and disadvantes?

ciione,
I have the Roush springs on my 99L and I like it very much. I didn't like the Bilstein shocks that came with the Roush kit so I just used the springs. As far as advantages, I'd have to say that handling is definitely improved, and I believe that it made the L look much better as well. As far as disadvantages, payload capacity is cut in half, and high speed dips in the highway make the truck bottom out. Hope this helps you out. Jonathan 99 Lightning #273 |
