Man, Let me tell you all... This is not condoning street racing but,

Every frickin time I take my truck out for a cruise... whether I am by myself or cruising with the wife and 5 year old son... I never find anybody to "show off" to. No matter what... Even my wife just told me... "Man, we didn't find anybody to screw with" Even she wants a little gas pedal action from time to time... "I love my wife"

however... everytime I take out my dinky 205 HP Full sized SUV, I always find somebody else showing off... It never friggin fails.. And we alsways say... We wish we were in the L...

Always happens that way.... Does that happen to any of you?

 

It's because they see that it's a Lightning and get scared.

 

I get the same thing. Whenever I drive the focus, some idiot in an SUV is on my bumper. When I'm in the L, nobody comes close. Ha Ha, my wife says the same as yours.

Most definitely the intimidation and admiration factor is there when I'm in the L as well. On the other hand people cut me off and ride my bumper when Im in the Jeep Cherokee. Never really have that problem in the L... I had this same discussion with my girlfriend about a week ago, funny you brought it up..

 

Arrgg, I share your pain! I always find myself sitting at a red light in my GTI 337 where 2 lanes merge into one ahead. I once lost to a PT cruiser with stick on flames and fart pipes. I wanted to kill myself....

 

Yeah you have to watch out for the PT Cruiser with the bruiser kits. I think they have some kind of NOS kit installed thats called a PT Bruiser... I saw one the other day when I was behind it at a light... Sure enough I was in the Grand Cherokee....I was wishin I was in the L...

 

And when I'm in the L, their going the other way. It's not fair

Always happens when Im in other ppls cars, especially when I had my SVT FoCuS. Always see riced out Hondas and other similar crap when I was with somebody else, never in my car. Same deal with the L...and today I had a Scion XA keep trying to pass me on the highway WTF =P

 

 

You man consider strapping a SC onto that SUV...
