Need new Shocks

Ok..

I have stock ride height... I need new shocks... starting feel a little too much bounce...

i may or may not do a 1/2 drop...

What would be my best option?

I would stick with replacements from Bilstein, they are by far the best all around shock setup for a Lightning. I have spent more money than I care to remember on shocks, and in the end it was Bilstein that went back on the L.

will they work with a 1"/2? drop?

yep, they will be just fine with a mild drop like that.

I have 56K miles on my truck... what are the stock shocks rated to in milage?

does 50K and out usually happen to these shocks?

On smooth roads, with out a load in the bed all the time, the stock Bilsteins should last forever according to bilstein........I got about 30,000 out of my hotchkis bilsteins, but I live in NYC, which is about the only place with worse roads than L.A. where Tim S. lives...
