Either way your not gaining much, at anything less than say 450 HP, you get better throttle response and many get 3-5HP-if you can feel or see that your better than me.

LFP is cheaper and I haven't heard of any problems.

I just put the LFP on my truck. I had an Accufab and and the BBK Twin.

My rating on quality of finish fit and operability,

1. LFP

2. BBK

3. Accufab

With the BBk, stock block, made 466/535. 91 pump gas. Only changed to the LFP for the looks, but it is a quality piece.

The Accufab gave me idle speed headaches, and the mechanical quality was less than expected, it looked nice though.

My $.02

I would go with LFP. It's basically the same design and LFP's CS is second to none.

I agree too...I have an Accufab. It looks great, but has idle issues...just a few hundred rpms too high. The idle is WAY too high on initial start up. I was sort of let down by that problem, but on the other hand, the throttle response did pick up. My tuner thinks he can solve the idle, but I haven't gotten the truck in for that yet.

Another difference I've found, is that for the same throttle input, it seems like the truck is in the boost alot quicker and earlier. To me, I don't like hearing the engine in boost for a normal acceleration. Sounds like it is working too hard. Does that make sense?

I'm actually considering going back to stock (or going with the LFP one).

Who makes it for LFP?

I have an Accufab and it has worked flawlessly from day one. Idle can be adjusted easily if desired.

I got the AccuFab too and no problems here. It`s not a waste of money. You said your looking to make 500HP right. Aftermarket TB fits in the puzzle somewhere.
