God knows I wish they were.....

When I get my truck I am thinking of recovering the center bottom seat with leather. I am sure I will end up spilling coffee on it, and leather will be easier to clean.

I had the opportunity to hang out with some SVT Engineers lately, and I asked the same question(among many others).
The answer I got was that leather would have been too slippery for vehicles like ours. I don't mind the fake suede, but any other color but powder grey would have been great. Just my .02.... Everything that I've been in that's leather has made my a$$ slip and slide all over the place. I couldn't imagine making a 90 degree at 45mph on leather! The fake suede is MUCH BETTER in my book. https://www.f150online.com/f150board/smile.gif

I tossed the idea about spandex or leather and chose the later.

Funny that leather is too slipper for "Vehicle like ours" yet the SVT countour and cobra both come with leather standard. Interesting indeed.
