Red face Extra miles?

Ok, so I got to work today and pulled into the space with 5999.8 showing on the odometer. When I came out for lunch, I started the truck and it showed 6000.0. WTF?!?!?! Now I wonder if it is adding miles other times I am not looking.

Red face

98Cobra,
Mine has done the same thing. It read like 3999.9 and next time I looked it read 4000!! I have no idea why. I wish it was the other way around, go in with 3999 come out and it says 3900. That would be neat!

I experienced the same thing with mine a while back. I pulled in the garage with 24999.9 miles on the truck and the next day I went to go drive and it was a 25000. I wanted to see it change so bad and that happend. Damn computers

Well, it really makes me wonder how often it sneaks a tenth in here, and a tenth in there...it adds up. And with as much as I drive, I dont need fake miles on my odometer. Anyone else having this issue?

Mine's done it too. I just figured it got tired of sitting there not running and found an R/T to race while I was away...

Cool

I wonder if this post should be combined with the post about them jumping forward when you start it...
