Question Flip-chip or Single program???

Well, I am almost ready to buy a Superchip, but I am having problems deciding if I should get the flip-chip or single program chip. I doubt I would be towing more than 2 or 3000 lbs. and I never take the L out in bad weather. What do you all use the non-performance side of your chips for? Thanks for the info!

For the extra couple hundred I would just get the flip chip, I first bought a single and now this winter I going to get a new flip chip just for when I want to run with the spray and without it.

I have had both and I would never buy a single again!!

My current chip is a touch too agressive for the street. It also runs real lean which i do not feel comfortable with.

The next chip im going to get is a JL chip with a street aggressive program and a pure race chip for the stop light and track events.

Definitely go with a flip chip! Coincidentally I have one for sale $125.

Hi SVT-Snake,

You cannot tow 2000 or 3000 lbs. with the single-program Superchip, it's too much load on the motor with that program, and you're liable to get detonation. You can try it if you want, you might get lucky, but I wouldn't recommend doing *any* towing with the single-program R9 Superchip.
