I am thinking of going to 410 Gears. I wanted to get some input on how good or not good this could be.
thanks

it will kill your mileage and top end, the 3.73's are still the best all around gear.

best mod you will do I gained 1+ mpg after the change .
I have 3# pulley,tune,full Bassani exhaust,cai,and gears. With
nitto's I trap at 105-107 at about 5k rpm so I still have room
in the rpm for more mods if I choose

It depends on how much modding you intend to do.

If high 12's is the most you ever expect from your truck then 4.11 might be ok but if you are serious about going fast you will find 3.73 is still not enough gear without tall tires.

Funny that. I gained mpg when I switched. Of course, I'm running on 22's. I've heard a couple of others say that they gained mpg as well. It depends on where you do most of your driving really. Around town or freeway.

I will probably be going to 20's or perhaps even stay at the 18's my mechanic told me that I can still see that 140 spot with the 410's but will notice change all in the bottom end.

Cool

HI!... Well I'm running 4.10's and 28" tall tires and get 21.3MPG on the highway. I make 354RWH.P and 393RWH.P in N/A trim. I also have a GPS'ed top speed of 152MPH.

I MUST disagree with some of the posts here.

I LOVED the 4.10's and gas mileage went up in city driving.

Here I did the hard work for you:

That should answer ALL your questions.
