I want to thank...

Raymond
Bruce
Robert & Midori
David & Darlene

My e-mail is down so I cannot (right now) send you a note of appreciation for your donation to the f150OnLine JDF. I just
received your checks today.

As soon as my e-mail is back on line, I will get back to everyone where we are as a group in regards to the donations.

Once again, I thank you.

Jim, I hope you get this (Heard about your computer). I work at one of the main buildings for Washington Mutual (bank), and I was told that WM is always willing to help out, and possibly match peoples donations. So, I will present this idea to my CSM (manager).

I will tell them how a group of people got together and raised money for the JDA, and I will ask to see if WM will either match the sum that you all so generously raised, or put some volunteer time in for the JDA.

But I'm not sure if i should mention that the idea came from a F150online Board, or just a group of generous people. I don't want for WM to say no b/c of a possible conflict of maybe using the Ford name, or something. Give me your feedback.

At this moment I do know the exact amount that has been donated. Now that my computer is back on line, I'll have a pretty close amount by the next day or two.

But for now, I can say that it will amount between $2,700-$3,000 donated to the JDF by this fantastic F150OnLine Lightning Members.

Thank you all for helping.

Ok, I will talk to my trainer, CSM (manager), and my ARSCM (big wig) tomorrow. I can't wait. I hope they choose to do the right thing and match the amount, and even donate some time, i'd love to work with the JDF. I will be presenting it as the
FORD F150online Message Board (Lightning), has donated a generous sum, and that you (the board) would appreciate any help. Well, it's 1;16 AM now, guess i should sleep and get ready to go in at 7 am. Wish the JDF luck & me!

Today I'm going to send a note to Terri Switkowski "Swit" who is the Marketing Manager, Special Vehicle Team. I will be thanking her for her approval of us using the Lightning Logo on our mats. Her OK in a way got this donation drive started.

If were are lucky, she may present our drive for the JDF to SVT Ford and may be just may be SVT will help.

That would be awsome!

Steve

I stand corrected. I just figured that since you were so clever in developing the F150OnLine site that you must be a Lightning owner. My Apologizes.
_____________

All kidding as side, yes you mentioned that a donation was on its way. And I and the JDF really appreciates it.

Wow.....

Reading this thread sends chills down my spine.... It all started with a desire to send $10 to a worthy cause and through the hard work of a couple and the generosity of many has grown substantially.

With all the bad news that we hear all the time and the pressures of the day to day grind it is uplifting to reflect on a group of people most of whom have never met, who have a common interest in Ford Trucks coming together to help a good cause.

SVT must be doing something right to be selling to a demographic with hearts as big as those here.

Ford makes a big effort on behalf of the JDF already. Perhaps the publicity of this group donation accompanied by a Matching Donation from SVT/Ford would be some needed good publicity in the wake of all the recent bad publicity. It shouldn’t be too hard to make the wire services with this type of story.......

FORD / SVT Are you listening ??

I got the ball rolling, can you help ??

Doug
