received Lo-Tek's pillar pods
 

I just received the two pod, opened it up with excitment only to be very disappointed. NO WAY does it match. We have a light to maybe a med. gray pillar. What I received was a much darker gray. I would call it charcoal. If I were to use it, one side would be light, the other dark. NO WAY!!!

They may have made a mistake. Except that, if I remember correctly, they only had two to choose from: gray and black. I don't have black. Therefore, it DOES NOT MATCH. But if they didn't make a mistake, this does not work. I'm sending it back.

I went out and looked again. What they did was match the dash not the pillars. I got in touch with Lo-Tek and they now know about it. I was told they would take care of it tomorrow.

Before I get 20+ emails about this, I have already sent Lo-tek an email stating that this is in no way acceptable and if they can't match exactly (which they can) the pillar color of the 99-00 L pillar to send back the check and I will refund the money. I'm sorry this happened to yours, but it is probably a blessing for the rest of us as I'm sure they will now get it right.

I will say though that you guys getting the 3 pod set-ups should be happy with what you get, the part looks good except for the color.

Once again, I did get a hold of them and was told they will take care of it.

As soon as I get it back, I will re-post and let everyone know that it is either OK or NOT

They're selling them on Ebay as well. I bidded on one of them too. Unfortunately, my interior is med. blue. So I'm gonna have a hell of a time matching the color.

Good thought. It would have sounded better with HIGH-TEK, not lo-tek. It sounds like the difference between High-bidder vs. lo-bidder. One is a winner the other a loser.

Also, I was just called by Lo-Tek and they are fixing the problem and will be mailing my pods right back with the correct color.
