ok i know i dont belong in this area of the site because i have a 4x4 but i have always wanted a lightning and i wanted to ask you guys' advice on what i need to do to make my truck freakishly fast. i know i need a supercharger, i have an intake and exhaust, and a superchips. but would intercooling my truck or a 75mm throttle body do anything? and do any of you know about chip stacking because i hear about it but im clueless as to if its truly possible to do. i just love fords, especially if they are fast and would probably have a heart attack if i ever got to have a lightning so i want to turn my 5.4 Fx4 into a 4x4 lightning wanna be

 

intercooler is nothing more then a second thicker radiator, in your case, until you get the S/c

 

Get a lightning engine/ tranny, or just buy a built engine ready to bolt in.

I would do the L/Harley swap on your truck and enjoy the great power u can have at your control

I did it on my 4x4 SuperCrew and love it

If you have the 3 valve 5.4, just go with the Whipple kit. It'll give you just what you're looking for.
