WTF is up with this tire??

Maybe NTB sucks, but I've taken it to them twice in 3 months b/c I have a slow leak in my right rear tire and it still leaks.....even 3 hours after they said they patched it.

It's a Toyo Proxes (stock size) that was fine for over a year and now is the biggest PITA b/c I have to add 15-20 psi each morning.

Should I go to the dealer??

See if they installed a new VALVE STEM when checking your tire out.

We bought a 215/50-zr17 for my wife's car, leaked like crazy. took it to the base here in Germany and the brand new valve stem was bad. $4.00 later, holds air perfect.

Also have them check te bead surface on the rim, they can corrode. Wire brush+5 minutes=OK?

Let us know what it was!

Wow thats kind of weird... the same exact thing happened to me about a week ago. I also have the toyo proxes on my 98 escort and the front driverside had absolutely no air in it at all one morning and i drove all the way to school on a flat tire lol. i added air to it in my Auto class and it hasnt leaked since. I then brought it to a tire place and they checked it out and they didnt find any leaks at all.

Good luck with yours.

Just had the same thing fixed on one of my Toyo's...Bead Seal was the issue.

They removed it and reseated it and all has been fine....funny it never had an issue until the L was replaced by a Jetta for a daily driver...must have been PO'd at me
