Powering problem for Gauges

So I have my gauges installed and they have power to them. I used an idea from one of the other guys and tapped (using a fuse tap) into the specified location http://www.timskelton.com//lightning.../gauge_pod.htm

Now when I start it the gauge goes all the way to the right. What's up?

Sounds like a ground issue to me. Where did you put the ground for the gauge?

I grounded it to the frame behind the pillar.

Angry

Everything is hooked up fine. It's grounded, the power is not constant (I tried that on purpose). It's all good until I turn the truck over, then the thing just pegs itself out. I can't figure it out at all. I'm talking to the guys at autometer to try and figure it out. Thanks for the ideas guys, keep them coming, I'll keep trying everything until I get this to work.

It looks like tim uses the same fuse I am using, but his picture is a little confusing.

Here is where the power to my Boost guage is hooked up

Buy a external fuse box and stop hacking up the oem wires.

Mine is hooked up exactly how you have it in the picture. I tried the external fuse as well and resulted in the same results.
