Keyless Entry Wiring for 99's (Help)
Ok,
Question for the collective regarding keyless entry install on 99’s…. As the 99’s do not have the connector prewired in the door for the keypad actuator, I need some help as to conneting the wires into the proper slots in the “white box” under the dash. This is the last step for me to finish the install as all other componants are installed and ready to go. FYI.. Running the wires through the flextubing into the cabin is a BlTCH!!, plain and simple. Two hours and a few &^^%$# thrown in. Nevertheless, Any advise would be greatly appreciated. The tip on the 9-pin connector swap out was a great idea. Got to practice my soldering skills (it had been awhile). The wires are as follows: Red Black Green Brown Yellow w/ black stripe Yellow Blue w/ yellow stripe Blue ------------------ Brake Late, Dive Deep Speedin Bob '99 Red Lightning #2504 Built 6/17/99 NLOC # 438 13.98 @ 98 mph (Rookie Session) Latest Mods: Superchip (on order) Keyless Entry Retrax Bed Cover 2000 L Tiedowns over 99's Super White Head and Fog lights Wet Okole Seat Covers Mobil One and FilterMag Airaid w/ Autophysics filter retrofit Clear Corners & Tails Bugflector Duraliner |
