Thumbs up The True-Trac is installed

I just got back from Excessive Motorsport where they installed my Detroit True-Trac. Once again I'm impressed with the expertise and quality of work that they perform every time I go there. This is one of the few places where they are completely cool with you watching everything they do and don't mind at all if you ask questions. Larry did the install and made it look easy. He kept swapping shims until he got it perfect. There's no difference in the way my L drives now, but I feel a lot better know that this unit will never wear out. I can't wait to get the built trans installed and shoot for the 10's. Just thought I'd share...

Try putting the power down coming out of a low-speed corner. With the fixed torque bias of the Torsen, you should notice dramatically better hook.

You will also miss that initial pull to the right on wot shifts when the tries spin, try not to automatically correct for it................woo hoo

When mine rips the tires it is straight as an arrow, you could almost let go of the wheel, but don't, for safety sake.......
