Watt's Link Kit...

I just bought RUslow's Panhard bar. It's not installed yet; and, I stumbled across this...

Am I wrong, or is this a source for a Watt's Link for our trucks? I'm sure there are a few guys here that would like to look farther into this. About 1% of us to be exact. LOL

Just went here and at first glance, I don't think that kit would work on our trucks.

Much more involved than adding a Watts. Leaf springs need to go, install coil-overs, install a 4-link or similar. Then the Watts will be a benefit.

yes it CAN work but is anything but a bolt in item. Also if you look at the outer support can it be removed to gain access to the diff?the video is of a HD truck if I remember rite and on those trucks you need to remove the pipes that go over the axle[thats why there is drop pipes on the mufflers]Stan

The panhard bar is more than fine for me. I just thought somebody might be interested.

I wish I could find an easy coil over 4-link. :(

Needs to be modified to accept our larger axle tubes. Remove air bags and install coilovers in place of shocks. Thats what will be on my truck when i can afford it! Cant get much easier than that!

I talked to their tech about a year ago and he said that it wasn't designed for our axles and they are not interested in the Lightning.

To me it looks really heavy and I'm not sure the results would be as good as expected compared to a proper leaf set up. But hey, if you want to experiment, I'd love to hear your comments.
