Watt's Link Kit...
I just bought RUslow's Panhard bar. It's not installed yet; and, I stumbled across this...
http://www.totallypolished.com/watt's_link_kits.shtml Am I wrong, or is this a source for a Watt's Link for our trucks? I'm sure there are a few guys here that would like to look farther into this. About 1% of us to be exact. LOL |

Much more involved than adding a Watts. Leaf springs need to go, install coil-overs, install a 4-link or similar. Then the Watts will be a benefit.

yes it CAN work but is anything but a bolt in item. Also if you look at the outer support can it be removed to gain access to the diff?the video is of a HD truck if I remember rite and on those trucks you need to remove the pipes that go over the axle[thats why there is drop pipes on the mufflers]Stan

The panhard bar is more than fine for me. I just thought somebody might be interested.

I wish I could find an easy coil over 4-link. :(

Needs to be modified to accept our larger axle tubes. Remove air bags and install coilovers in place of shocks. Thats what will be on my truck when i can afford it! Cant get much easier than that! To me it looks really heavy and I'm not sure the results would be as good as expected compared to a proper leaf set up. But hey, if you want to experiment, I'd love to hear your comments. TB |
