Post INJECT TECH'S QUIT

I just got an e-mail from them that said they were phasing out the lIGHTNING end of the chip business and a company called CC'D may pick it up. Does anyone have any more details? Their tuner was doing a great job on the Lightning's from what I saw.

As you may or may not know the company just started doing more than just t-birds in the last month and a half, but they were doing Thunderbird chip for a while. From what I understand the business ramped up too quickly for the owners to handle and still have time for their families. So as opposed to providing a reduced level of service they have opted to have another company (CC'D) take over the Truck and Lightning side of the business. The CC'D chips will provide the same level of performance found in Inject Tech Lightning chips.
I wish Inject Tech the best and look forward to what CC'D will have to offer for lightning owners.

Also persons who have purchased an inject tech chip will still be supported by inject tech. I will Talk to the owner of CC'd and see if they will also provide support for Inject Tech Chips.

In my opinion the guy doing the tuning is a big part of producing a good chip. Now the new company is got to find them a good tuner. I hate that because the guy who produced your chip was doing very well. Maybe he will go to the new company? Wishful thinking!

The new guy/company has calibration experience. And the owner(s) of Inject Tech will be helping out.

Everyone

When I dynoed my L at Dyno Daves, Jerry, the calibrator of the Inject-Tech chip that I tried was the one who offered me to try his chip on one of the pulls. There was another guy there (forgot name) that I figured was some kind of partner with Jerry. As it turns out, he is the guy that Jerry is handing off the Lightning chip developement to. From what I've observed, Jerry is going to make himself available to the other guy for the transition. I wouldn't worry about this change; especiailly when the guy is focused on L chips. We'll see.

I've got two shops that dyno:

Contact 1:

Dyno Daves
Dyno-Jet Chassis Dyno

Pardee road, Taylor, Michigan
Just before the Goddard road intersection on the right. His dyno is in his custom garage. Don't let that scare you. He's got the latest Dyno-Jet software/hardware.

Contact 2

Modern Musclecar

33280 Groesbeck Hwy. Fraser, MI 48026
Phone (810) 293-0099

They have a brand new dyno; not sure what brand or type.
