I'm back.

Been out of the country for awhile. Now I can rebuild my 3rd motor that blew 18 months ago

Any new performance items that are worthy come out in that time? I think I had everything available on my truck before that. And 4 days before my engine went, I redid the multimedia system in my truck. I can't even remember what it sounds like.

Edit - anyone have one of those sylvania hid light kits for sale? I knew I should have gotten one before I left..........

Going to check out the 4 valve heads and maybe the 2.6 KB. Only had my other KB on truck for 3 months before I threw 2 rods.

Looks like ordering parts next week, going for new block, heads, cams, forged rods and pistons. I saw a new radiator (not intercooler) on the web, anyone have one?

Edit- When I left premium was 2.30. You guys used it all up?

Welcome back! Are you going to use Chris to do all your work or are you done with him?

Hey what's up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Glad to see you still around.

Trying to decide what to do.
1 - spend another 10k to finish my L
2 - put a stock 5.4 in there and turn down the boost
3 - put it back to stock, sell what I can and trade it in on a c6/ctsv/m3 etc.

Added up what I spent so far (besides the actual truck) and it's almost 20K. Hard to think bout another 10. Plus Chris told me it would be 8 weeks for them to make the pistons. Then add another 1 month for everything else.

Plus if I finish the L, I could never sell it without losing my ***.
Saw your turbo kit. You never had the kb on the built block?

got me on the 2.6.... the aluminum block has been around since then though, you just couldn't order one machined and ready to go... you had to be more resourceful and get everything done one-off. John at modular performance had one in his car in late 04 even I think.

Nope never had it on the built block, I sold it so I could pay for the turbo kit. It sucked that I had to wait 9 months for the kit to ship out. I would have loved to have the KB on while I waited. Anyways the truck should be in the shop this coming week for the install. I will call you about what I think you should do about the truck.

Not the Whipple either. They weren't on the market 15 months ago.
