Who's running the JLT Big Air Intake?

I've been looking at this kit for a little while now. I'm looking for something to replace my K&N FIPK with and I like the looks of this kit. For those of you that have the JLT, how do you like it? How was running the lines to the bottom of the elbow? Does it have the proper fittings? Any info would be great. This is what I'm talking about...

One of my friends bought one a FFW Richmond. I need to install it on his truck. Looks like a decent piece....

Cool. Post some results when you guys get it installed. I'm in no hurry.

They show a PCV pre-filter. Wonder how well that works?

 If your looking for what I think is the best though out and quality cold air kit look into ChickenEars COOL Aid setup. Worth every penny!!!! I had the PSP setup and never installed it and ordered the CoolAid kit when it came out! Artie:beers:

I like it because of the material it is made out of and the diameter of the tube....

Jeff- which heat sheild are you using? That doesn't look like the JLT one that is in their website.

I just realized , that the picture of the sheild on JLT kit looks as if was insatlled 90 degrees off. There shouldn't be a sheild on top and none on the bottom. the way they have it installed would retain heat...not sheild it.

Isn't that why they call them hot air filters....?

With hot air the computer backs off the timing and power is reduced. That's why exposed air filters are sub-optimal. But they make a good bling item.:smoke: With brackets, chrome and big tubes....
