Not 8's but getting closer!


1st off a big Thanx for All the Support Everybody has given me! We really appreciate it very much!..This weekend @ WFC had its ups and downs for sure! I knew going to the event with this new set-up was going to be a huge challenge.and it was for sure!.We didn't get a chance to test the set-up on our home track.(Ran out of time)..We did get 3 runs @ WFC. We learned alot about the turbo's. We are changing the cams,The converter/Trans,..The cams were just too small, and the converter was way tooo Loose!.As soon as i would floor it the tach would go out of site! we hit 7,500 rpm's off and on all the way down the track,I had to lift to about 1/2 throttle before the 1/8th everytime and go thru the traps about 1/2-3/4 throttle!
..On the last run we dropped a cylinder #6..i took a compression test and it had 0..I figured it leaned down and burned a hole in the piston.I just looked at it with a bore scope and don't see any holes! I'll be tearing it down thursday to see exactly what happened. I hope within 2 weeks to be at the track again..I must say i have never felt this kind of power before, these turbo's are just down right Nasty!..Again Thanx to everyone for the Great Support, i don't believe its going to be too long now to see a Gen 2 in the 8's!....
