Running M/T E.T STREET's on a STOCK 99L

After returning from a night of Bracket Racing at Gainsville Raceway (Gator Nationals) I ran into a disapointing problem. I actually turned a slower e.t. and m.p.h.then with my F1's!
F1's 14.01@ 98.79 mph
M/T's 14.16@ 96.34 mph
Though my 60ft time improved by.12@ a 1200rpm launch with the M/T's compared to 600 rpm with the F1's.
I did notice I had less boost (6-7)psi and it didn't climb as quick, either.
Could the computer be compensating by slowing the car down because of the smaller Dia.Tires (26x10.5x16)?????
I am still waiting for Sal to e-mail me back on a chip and Bassini exhaust. AND FFW IS THIS COMING WEEKEND!!!!!!!!
HELP,HELP,HELP-SAL !!! HELP-ANYBODY!!!!!!

I don't think it has to do with the tire. I run 4.10's and don't have a problem with less boost. Also, I run with the 26 inch Hoosier's and no problems. I have had a couple of run's where I was only getting 6-7 psi. I think this has more to do with over rev. The 1-2 shift some times gets a little high.
