if you are referring to the f1's as, "sucking ***" performance wise, the hankooks and toyos are 10 times worse. if you want the best performance tire go with the nitto 555r's. they'll last ya about 10k and then you'll have to get new ones. the reason most people, including myself, buy the hankook and toyo tires is because they last twice as long as the f1's. im not looking so much for a performance tire because I use slicks at the track.

by the way there is unlimited info by using the SEARCH BUTTON!

just a little reminder.

Tires

About a year ago I bought 2 F1s at Merchants Tire, out the door, was $440.00, I should have bought 4. Well to pass state inspection I needed two tires, this time two F1s cast me $750.00, out the door, at our local Goodyear dealer. I had to have them immediately or quit driving the truck, Goodyear had them on the shelf, so I paid their price. You can bet my next set will not be F1s and I won't wait till the last minute to get a them.

I have 2 Nittos 404s on the front that have over 22K on them. They were also on the back for a while, with a few 1/4 passes on them. The look the same as the 404s on the rear that have about 2K on them. No more F1s for me.
