Started the interior

Finally got the nerve to start the interior of my "L". So far....just a few things smoothed/painted/cleared. What do you think?

Looks great. Loose that ricer A/F gauge and get a wideband.

How well does it hold up? I tried it on mine and after a few weeks it flaked. I prepped as described. Which brand did you go with?

My body guy didn't want to paint the "spongy" areas. So he sent them off to be dyed...which I guess holds better. The other ones were taken off, smoothed, then painted, then shot with clear coat. They turned out really nice (the pics do them no justice). I only wanted to do a few pieces just in case I didn't like it. Got my Chickenears mats today (THANKS TIM!!!) to match the interior.

More to come.....

i was afraid to open this post for this reason. People shouldnt use white accents on dark colored interiors. They jump out at you and scream rice.

Introducing a color to the inside of the cab that was not there before is always gonna look out of place. Grey and black is the only 2 colors that really work.

yeah

the interior paint thing is a love hate relationship. I 've had mine done for quite a few years now , and did the center console when I did it last summer. I love and and have gotten more compliments on it then people who said they didn't care for it. All that is important is that you like it and if you don't, you can always go back to stock.
