Downs Filter Kit!
Yow!
I just got done installing my brand new Down's filter kit. Yikes!
I know it is comparable to PSP's and others, but just for the record, it is awesome.
My thanks to Bill Murray for his post about a month ago telling everyone if they don't do anything else-filter it! He was right.
I did notice a burning smell right after the first drive, I assume it is due to extra air and a somewhat leaner mixture-which burns hotter and more efficiently, I'm assuming no big deal-just watch the temp on hot days.
I also noticed the S/C pressure reaching almost to 10 psi under high rpm. Here in the Rockies, we need all the air we can get.
Just had to vent!
