Just a recommendation to flush trans fluid. Mine just hit 11,5K. I pulled in shop to change oil(synthetic/wix filter) and rotate tires. Got a wild hair and hooked up are trans fluid flush machine. Fluid was still very red(has clear tube to see fluid flow). Went ahead and exchanged. Is now very Pink. takes 10-15min to change 16qt. Mine is not abused as some others. I'm going to keep changing every 12k. Would recomend doing at 15k or at 20k. Posibly next time I mite use synthetic trans fluid(not shure). But make shure to use mercon atf rated fluid, not mercon V . Easy place to connect is at trans cooler(one in front of radiator),easy to get to from under with truck on lift. Just thought I would pass this along, may add longer life to trans.
