Can't Even Lose My Cell Phone!
 

I thought you Lightning guys and girls would get a kick out of my embarrassing moment the other day. I was running my errands around town all day and just looking for anything to pounce on with my little F150. Full power takeoffs from lights, kick downs into passing gear, you know, really feeling my oats as they say. Well when I pulled into the drive of my house, my wife walked around behind the truck and said, "how long has your cell phone been sitting here on your bumper?" I was crushed! That cell phone had been there from the day before and all my hot rodding did'nt even knock it off.
So, While some of you guys measure your performance gains in verious ways, I will keep making improvements until I can at least lose that cell phone! Can a blower be far away?

Not sure if I've ever seen the lost-cell-phone-time used in a Car & Driver test, but I guess it does have some relevence. I think most of us Lightning guys would expect something measured in seconds instead of days.

Ya know a White Lightning with Cobra stripes would be pretty awsome. Good story!

In my defense the cell phone was in a leather case on the vinyl part of the rear bumper and it did not have to endure any side G's just straight line stuff. But Still.....
