Within a month of owning the Lightning, I started to notice that the drivers lower cushion was discoloring and looking bad. (I guess I should clean my jeans). Anyhow, I started to look for seat covers that wouldn't take away from the great looking seats that Ford installed. I found a company in Van Nuys, CA that makes sheepskin covers and who was willing to do custom work. He made a set of covers that have the same pattern and look as the stock seats, as well as a console cover. The look and feel great. Soon as I get some pictures, I'll post them.

whitelightning...I have what they call seat protectors on my Lightning! I have had them for about 4 months now! They are made by Covercraft! Attached by felcro, easy to install a remove. Machine washable! I am completely satified with them!

Just found the Covercraft website:

They have an e-mail link there. Couldn't find any reference to the Lightning seat covers (or any seat covers) so I sent them an e-mail requesting info. I did note, however, that they mention several times that they do custom work.

My wife sprayed 2 cans of 3M Scotch Guard on my seats and carpet when it was new. I stunk for a few days, but when I spilled a cup of coffee the other day (hit huge pothole), it wiped up without soaking in. I haven't noticed any dirt yet either.

 

F150SVT...They also used my truck to make a front mask, looks good! If you don't get any response from Covercraft, try this!

We do have Seat Savers for the 1999 Ford F-150 Pickups. We have either the
high back bucket seats with armrest ($97.65) or the 60/40 split bench seat
($118.15). it's hard to say how long they will last because it all depends
on how they are treated. They are a heavy duty canvas and you should get

Just got back from a trip, but wanted to reply to Mike. The sheepskins are held on by a combination of straps and elastic. The mimic the style and color of the seats, but they don't have the SVT logo embossed or sewn in. However, after living with them for a week now, I love 'em. Really feel nice, like an old flannel shirt Still waiting to get the pictures though, just finished the film in the camera.
