NLOC - National Lightning Owner's Club

I've been informed that there is such a thing and have even called a number that I was given to get the details and perhaps become a member. When I dialed the long distance phone number, I got an answering machine that sounded like it might be Sal. I'm not exactly sure what made me think it was him because I've never spoken with him via the phone, but I think it might have been that the message indicated it was some kind of performance shop. I left my name and number but have not heard from anybody. Has anyone heard of a Lightning Club? Does anybody out there think that we could somehow organize a local, regional or state club?

99Lightning,
www.nloc.org, the website is still fairly new, but has enough info on it to get enrolled. Sal was the original founder of the club, but Monroe now has it and is trying get some upgrades done.

Power Surge performance is Sal's business that specializes in only Lightning applications. I have purchased and am using his PowerStack filter and Outer Wears pre-filter combo, and am running a custom chip he made for me for performance and nitrous modes. So far I have to say that I like Sal's chip better than the SuperChip (taking nothing away from SuperChip, they make a quality chip and stand behind it, just as Sal does). I made some dyno runs today and will be posting the numbers later tonight (I hope).

I am an NLOC member and have met Monroe personally, and spoken w/Sal on the phone several times. The group of NLOC members is every bit as helpful and interested as everyone on this board (a lot of the people on this board are members).

I highly recommend you consider supporting the group, as they are the only other really good source of info available besides F150Online. Monroe has some great ideas for improving the club, and is working hard to bring them about.

Let me know if I can be of further assistance,

I have been looking at starting a local club in the south texas region. I'd love to speak with others starting clubs in their area and maybe come up with a national infrastructure.

The new National Lightning Owner's Club (NLOC) website needs a couple of extra symbols in order to open that the prior site did not require. If you try the following link, it should open the NLOC webpage with no problem:
