Post Its fixed

In case anone else has a squeeky
truck bed. Ford was awae ao this problem and fixed it to day by remiving the bed bottom and applying some dielectric lube. The steering is pulling to the right and ford was also aware of this commom problem and is sending the dealer some adjustable caster camber fittings. My engine was sounding like a diesel during warm up but at 5100 miles is actually soundng much better. Maybe its the junk food its been having for lunch (rams, silverados. F bodies , etc) EH?

Hey Peter,

When are you going to put up a picture of your truck? I really want to check out your billet grilles.

Peter, just a word of caution, the dealership I bought from also did this fix but totally screwed it up. By the time they finished, the caster split ended up being more than twice as much as the spec. Also as a result, the camber was way off on the right which threw off the toe. The end result was a constant pull to the left. Needless to say, the dealer swore up and down that the kit was installed correctly and aligned to proper specs.

After much haggling with them, I took the truck else where to find out the real truth. They did not install all off the parts in th kit!! If the kit is installed correctly and aligned as close to nominal as possible, your truck should not be to terribly sensitive to the effects of road crown. (given the wide tires of course)

When you get it fixed, please post how it turned out.
