Any comments on billet pieces I'm doing ?
 am pursuing a vendor that can custom make a few billet pieces
for my '99 Bolt. Request for comment: I want to created a SVT 5.4 Litre in the same fashion as the 1967 GTO plaque. long trapizoid shape. This would be mounted on each door and I'd possibly remove the Lightning plaque. We'll see. I also want a billet piece to cover the radio controls and the a/c - heater controls ...and... have them "engine turned" again similar to early GTO /Trans Am dashes. If it was kick *** I'd try to get several made to sell later on. Anyway it is my goal to customize my Lightning in this fashion. Please advise if you know of any billet machine folks that do good work and work with small projects such as mine. Thanks ..just got new AR TT II's 20x10 6.0 inch BS and I wished I'd gotten them in 1999 ( they were not available then) I like em a lot. __________________ DorgunR Semper Fi |
Got this from WWW.HUMOUNT.COM........

Are tehy making them again?? Do you know if they are making 18" also?? The one I selected are chrome centers with polished mag rims. Easy to keep shiny. They were from the "custom" group and I'm very sure you can get 18" in any reasonable BS you need. Only 20 and 18 are available however no 16" for slicks. For better or worse I paid $420.00 each out the door from Discount Tire. I got Kumo (sp?) 295/40/20 tires for (923.00 4 tires out the door) Perhaps because they are new , but getting them now makes my '99 seem like a new truck :^) Next a few interior pieces until I can afford lowering, headers, a few mods to help my performance. However looking at the Pontiac Soltice to save $$ on gas and park the BOLT for just playing around with. |
