Are off road H-pipes & exhaust worthwhile.....

on a 430-440 RWHP Lightning?

A buddy of mine has the exact same mods as I do, plus he has straight pipes replacing all the cats. His MPH wasn't any better than mine at the same track. same night when we ran our trucks.

I don't want to do headers, and I am also very leary of making the truck loud. I was even thinking of utilizing two separate Dynomax Super turbos since they don't make a factory replacement muffler.

I guess I don't want to waste money/time (stainless=$750.00+) on exhaust if its all noise and little-to-no actual performance increase.

And, I also searched, and you get all kinds of opinions on HP incease, while everybody seems to agree it gets really loud.

Thanks for your input.

Don't go with the Dynomax Super Turbos, they suck. I lost over 12rwhp on my 2000GT after installing those. They are garbage!

in my opinion, most of them are all noise and little performance. mostly designed for show and probably not worth it!
