Are off road H-pipes & exhaust worthwhile.....
on a 430-440 RWHP Lightning?
A buddy of mine has the exact same mods as I do, plus he has straight pipes replacing all the cats. His MPH wasn't any better than mine at the same track. same night when we ran our trucks.
I don't want to do headers, and I am also very leary of making the truck loud. I was even thinking of utilizing two separate Dynomax Super turbos since they don't make a factory replacement muffler.
I guess I don't want to waste money/time (stainless=$750.00+) on exhaust if its all noise and little-to-no actual performance increase.
And, I also searched, and you get all kinds of opinions on HP incease, while everybody seems to agree it gets really loud.
Thanks for your input.
