best ride quality on 22's
 

Looking for about a 2 inch drop. I know the rousch kit and hotchins are top of the line, which has a more comfortable ride?

Also what do you think about just doing control arms in the front with stock springs for about a 2 inch drop and then hotchins rear leafs and some drop shackles?

truck is a 2003

also any recommendations for a better shock?

The tires have a LOT to do with the ride quality. The Hankook 285/35/22 RH06 tires I had on mine were very smooth! I would buy then again in a second.

wow, did not think they had much to do with ride quality, maybe traction. I guess depends on how soft the sidewalls are??

are those colorado custom rims?

They are Panther EM241's I think. I know they are Panther for sure.

As the new owner of Shock's wheels and tires, I can agree. I was PLEASANTLY surprised how well the Hankook 22's ride.
I have a 3" shackle drop and am working on the Roush setup now.

The are Panther Breeze, tried to order them today but they are back ordered for 4 to 6 weeks or some BS like that. back to searching for rims.

They are Panther Breeze 22x9.5 with 285/35/22 Hankook's and I LOVE them. Thanks again Shawn!!

How do they compare to the f1's? Traction, wear, etc.

285/35/22 Nitto 555 Extreme's with 2" coils and a 4" shackle.. love the ride.. 22's hook 10 times better than my toyo's.. wear much quicker though.. wouldnt trade my nitto's for anything..
