Just got dyno'd not bad for 1.5weeks ownership
Here is the graph and mods. this was at 80 degrees and is pretty good, made more hp then an 03 with my mods + full exhaust on the same dyno

what do you have for mods?
mods?
|
hmmm
looks like it has an upper plenum, throttle body, power pipe, filter and possibly a maf.
Those numbers aren't bad if you don't have a pulley or chip |

Here is the info- On a different dynojet my truck laid down 365/419 stock, Obviously it read high. (it really is more like 315hp/375ft.lbs) sounds more realistic and compared to this dyno i just got on would fit the mold better.
NOW-It has intake, intake elbow, intake plenum, throttle body, diablo predator, 4lbs pulley. and it laid down 384/472. This dyno obviously reads lower. mine is an 00, compared to an 00 with my mods + headers, x pipe, and catback mine made more hp! I know the numbers arent amazing for most people with the better #'s but for this dyno, the owner was impressed. it was also 80 degrees+ today. It was very consistent and laid down the same #'s over and over within 1 hp so thats 69rwhp gain and 97ftlbs at the rear wheels. sorry for the confusion. Josh Thanks to Mark At LFP (Lightning Force Performance) for all the help and most parts! |
hmmm
actually then, that seams low.
My 2000 with a chip, filter, 4lb lower, 90mm maf, tb, efan and pump, and ported eaton dyno 437/532. That was on my street program with an 11.8 a/f max. You should be very close to the 400/500 club with those mods. On a 1.8 60 you should run 12.7's |
Its low for this dyno, but on another dyno i put down 365/419 stock, the a/f is perfect now...i think my Stock Numbers were inflated via dyno, because another run i had was 315/375 stock. maybe my #'s are low I guess I'll see how i do vs. the 12.9 eclipse on race gas, that'll give me a better idea because he hits consistent 1.7 60ft.s all day long.

IMO the only way you'll run a 13 flat is if you can get a good launch. Got a sticky track.. or some sticky tires?

I have 305/45/18 Nitto 555R's and they dont slip one bit...I also have the plugs and thermostat sitting here, maybe i should get those in as well. (and order an exhaust)
does it matter that its Uncorrected..no SAE or anything? |

Thanks, I will keep you posted. When i launch the truck I give it 3/4 throttle and then floor it around 1800 to 2000rpms...it still doesnt break the tires loose from a 10 or 15 roll, havent tried a stop yet. Should i launch more aggressively? tips?
I also have a FTVB waiting to go in as well if that'll help |
If you're not breaking the tires loose then you are launching correctly. I would keep getting more aggressive until your 60ft times start dropping or you notice wheel spin.
FTVB great mod, but doesn't do much for ET. It will save your tranny though and it's great fun just watch out for police on the street!! Barking tires tend to offend the peace officer's!! (Just doing their jobs!!) Bryan |
