Lucky Lighting Owners

Everyone here that has a lighting even a stock one is very lucky to have one, that is my dream truck, one day I hopefully will own one. But for now i will try and make my 1994 F150 Flare Side as much like a lighting! 2003 Lighting 5.4l Engine Assembly is only 6,700 dollars that will be my ultimate purchase.
Wow Lightings are INSAINE!:bows:

I know what you mean. I get ragged all the time by my buddys about mine. They either say rich boy and his truck or that i take to good care of it. They say i should drive the hell out of it. I enjoy my L and i take it to the max it dont rag it out. That takes a lot for a 16 year now 18 to do with a truck this nice. Hope you get a L someday and enjoy every minute of it like me and many others:thumbsup:

You can beat on a lighting, but just take care of it, make sure there is not a spec of dust on it, and no scratches, Fords are made to be beat on they can with stand the torture!
FORD RULES!!!!:rocker:

Evan, that's not a bad looking truck you have. A Lightning engine would really wake it up. :rocker:

Yeah thats a pretty sweet lokkin ride bro! My first ride was a 1986 Ford Escort!! The thing could jump railroad tracks like there was no tomorrow, may she rest in peace.

That was some excellent advice

I remember when I first saw you come aboard. You have always answered questions and given advice, as honestly as you could.
Just trying to say you are an asset to this board, unlike some of the members your age. And I know, there is a bunch of old fu..cks talking sh..it on this board too!!!!! Like that old man in Joisey:p
Enough of my stuff,,,

Happy new Year Bro

I waited 35 years to get a supercharged ride and I feel double fortunate that it turned out being a lightning that can do other things well besides look good and go fast.

I hope 05 turns out to be a good year and we are all enjoying our trucks and each other as much a year from now.

GOD BLESS!

your truck reminds me of the truck that I built up right before I bought my L. http://pic14.picturetrail.com/VOL564...1/78806532.jpg

Evan, Check out this picture of my Flareside, before I got the Lightning. Then I totaled the Flareside, and Got the L and then is a pic of my current buildup.

It took me quite a few years to be able to buy something this nice. I did it the hard way too... Education first and toys somewhere low on the list! Although within 3 month I got it 100% paid for. Now it only cost's me storage ins. to sit in the garage when not being used. Mines a keeper for sure.

With 6000 dollars couldnt you just put a down payment on a used L? Eitherway, good luck in which ever rout you choose. I would recomend saving up for your dream truck, but I know its not an easy thing to do.

I know how you feel bro, I had a 4.2L f150. It was way to underpowered. I got my L 8 months a go, and I still love it as much as the day I got it.

Of course the payments are sometimes painful to make. I wonder if I am a loser because I picked my truck over my gf (now ex). But I am still trying to get back together with her, now that its easier for me to make the payments.
