Thumbs down Getting pulled over!!!

So I'm getting pulled over, for what I have no idea. So I'm getting my credentials out and the officer says do you know why I pulled you over? I said. I have no idea officer. He's said well the way you came out of that last street intersection all aggresive and what not I thought the truck might have been stolen. He said for the holidays the police are on a extra look out for anythiing suspicious. So my drivers license comes back ok and my registration comes back fine and lets me go. And I thought I was getting a citation. Man that's two times in two days. Watch out for breaking the law this holiday.

Hey, if you want to get agressive they're having Midnight Madness at Moroso Motorsport Park on Saturday 4th at 4:30pm. There's a bunch of L's from Tower Shops going, join us. You can test your L in the 1/4 mile for $15 or be a spectator for $10.

That's why, although red is to my eye the best Lighting color, I chose black. If Ford offered flat black, I would have bought that.

You do need to be careful around the holidays. Your city/county/state would really love to celebrate this season with extra revenue :santa:

Seems to me that we are trying to legislate around natural selection.

Yeah they pulled me over during a DWI check this past Friday night... I was even wearing my scrubs and had my hospital ID on me because I just left work... but when they had me pull into the parking lot the friggin cop was asking me about my truck.

My comment was mainly for humor purposes. But...

In California the private sector has found a nice, highly profitable niche in stoplight cameras. A $300+ red light violation nets the company ~$125.

Good for them.

I got no beef with cops, who are usually top-notch public servants with a thankless and underpaid job. But I wish that law enforcement would pay attention to the real problems out there instead of going for the easy money radar tickets.

Running red lights, changing lanes improperly, driving too slow, tailgating, failure to yield right-of-way, speeding through a school zone -- those are real problems. Someone going 20 over on the highway is not. It's just that it's a no-brainer revenue generator to write a radar ticket.

Here in Los Angeles, I wish that they would install cameras to write tickets for gridlockers. You know, those stupid f*cking *ssholes who know damn well that they cannot make it through the light and get stuck in the intersection. This is a far more serious problem than speeding.

I know that cops are just doing what they are told. This is a city/state planning issue, not a cop issue. When I am pulled over, even for a stupid speed trap, I am respectful and cooperative.

I received 3 tickets within a 2 week period. Two for speeding and one for exhibition of speed. Apparently i was "peeling out" at every light i stopped. The cop was an a$$hole. So now I have 3 court dates and probably at least a grand in tickets. As an E-4 in the Navy I dont know how I'll be able to afford that. I guess I haven't learned my lesson yet.
Im thinking of investing in a radar detector...Do they really work?
Any recommendations??....sorry for hijacking the thread.
