Those of you running LFP's electric fan...
Were you able to keep your stock water pump and run the LFP fan kit? I have done a search and the results are inconclusive. Thanks!

From what I have heard it is the same as the JDM kit. If so yes you can use the stock water pump.

i have JDM efan and my stock waterpump... i heard it was a waist of money for the cobra R pump....

LFP e-fan and stock water pump works great together.

LFP E-Fan and stock water pump here. I have a 2003 so the impeller design is the same as the Cobra R, but with bigger impellers...so does that mean it flows more...hmmm
So unless you just want to spend money for the "cobra R" pump that doesn't have the fan threads on the end, frees up a couple HP, and flows less...then the stock pump will work just fine:thumbsup: |
ive heard a lot of conflicting advice on the water pumps, i dont think that anyone has really pointed out a solid gain with one to me. that doesnt mean there isnt one, just one that i havent personally seen first hand. i remember someone reported a loss with one, but there was no proof with that either
