22's too big?
i found an awesome deal on some 22 inch, GFG 3 piece forged wheels with perelli rubber...they look sweet!! the only thing that bothers me is they are 22's, and i never planned on going over 20's with my truck...they are probably lighter than the stock wheels, so weight isnt really an issue...but i might be able the pull the look off with a lilttle bit of a drop...got 2'' shackels on it now....here are what the wheels look like....bring on the imput.....

I didnt know rims could get too big

Those would look awesome! Do it!

looks good as long as the bottom of the truck isn't any higher than stock. A nice lowering 3/4 would look good with 22's.
 |
thats what im thinking...i think im gunna do it...even if they dont look as good as i hoped...i can made some $$ of these...if you guys knew how much this guys wants to sell them for you would chit!!!!

i work at a tire shop. Lets say your running a 285/35/22. Thats still some sidewall. It bigger then most hondas running 17's like a 205/40/17. Hell its about the same as a 225/45/17 sidewall wise. Which isnt that bad. You wanna see TOO low of sidewall try a 215/35/18 or 215/35/19. Thats a freaking RUBBER BAND. I know i mount them. I mounted some chrome 22' with hankook RH06's 285/35/22's the other day for a HD. They are still big. We run 255/35/20's on our shop lowrider chevy truck. Thats wayyyyy lower of a sidewall. It rides fine and no dinged rims. You just gotta drive your truck more careful. DAMM that truck will look sweet with 22's.

I love those rims I was going to get them for my truck. The only thing is they do not make the 5 spoke in 22inch for trucks they only make the gfg6 6 spoke rim.
i know someone who had 23's on his |
