Suavy's Belt Slipping Answer

Her is a little something I whipped up to stop my belt from slipping.

looks solid. Does that put some extra stress on the S/C pulley though? I dont really know what i'm talkin about, but it looks like it would add some extra stress?

I would have to say no more than your tensioner already puts. Your tensioner determins how much tension is applied to the belt. All this does is give the belt more contact area.

i would seriously stay away from a cogged pulley unless your truck is 100% drag race only. its just way to harsh on the moving parts trying to accelerate and decelerate all the time. with no belt slippage at all.
