NewBee Here

Just want to say Hi. I was searching the internet and found this site. I am considering on buying a Lightning, Subaru sti, or a WS6. I just can't decide on which, but price is an issue. When I was talking to a friend, he said there is some kind of special pricing I can get on a new lightning, but someone that works for ford has to get it for me?? Does the other auto manufactures have the same thing? I would like to buy a lightning, but any help I could get to save on the finance end would be great!! Oh well, my quest to find the best bang for the buck continues!!!!!!

Believe you are talking about the X-plan through ford.

Welcome ! Hi ! The 2004 Lightnings have been out for a while and sell at similar prices to the X-plan prices already. The bugs have been worked out and they have good ratings for an American vehicle. Act fast, the supply seems to be dwindling in my area.

Hi. If you search some of the recent threads, you'll find recent pricing info, or at least what some of us have purchased them for.

Generally, even without any special plan (ie an X plan), you can pick up a new Lightning for somewhere around $28,000 to $30,000.

Hope this helps. Good luck!

Welcome and check out my web site. You can see what a few "typical" mods can get you for performance.

Then to top it off you have a 3 pass pickup that can be used as a pickup.

IMO it's the best to live with on a daily basis.
