Its "curing" overnight (this brush on caliper paint rocks), I'll take another shot of it tomrrow in the sunlight.

What brand caliper paint did you use? I want to do my stock ones and the brush-on kind seems the easiest to apply...

G2 Systems Caliper Paint

Hehe...thx. :) My old ones are for sale! *shameless plug*

I've moved up to slotted rotors from cross-drilled this time around...not quite as bling, but more set for racing.

Do you have a mildly used set of dimpled/fire-slotted rotors for sale or are you talking about an old Brembo big brake kit? I'm looking for the former so if you have a set available, please let me know!

Also, what procedure did you take to apply the brake paint? Did you tape off everything or was the brush-on method easy enough to do safely without blocking everything off?

My old brembo big brake kit is for sale, never had any other rotors for the front...sorry. :)

I only taped off the rear rotor a bit and one of the plates on the caliper as well as the brake line and bleeder valve...in hind site, I should have taped off the screw mounts too (got a little paint on them), but overall the paint was pretty easy to work with.... the hardest part was figuring how much of the caliper mount I wanted to matching paint, since a piece of it is visible...

LOL...nah, same kit. I wanted to switch to slotted rotors and I found another Lightning owner who was selling his set for a great deal...since I also wanted to red, it was easier to buy his and sell my others off then to paint my black ones and get the new rotors for them. The price I paid for the red ones, as long as I can get near what I'm asking for for the black ones will come out to be about net-zero offset from the cost of a new pair of rotors.
