Question Loud clicking while turning sharp

My truck is getting ready to run out of warranty on Labor Day and I am wanting to get this annoying noise checked out before then. A while back I thought that I read a post that said if when you are backing up and cutting the wheel sharp, and there is a loud, clicking sound, then something was loose in the steering. I thought that the post said it could be tightened under warranty. Can't find anything under the search, so anyone got any ideas?
