tallimeca, others who've found water in plug wells
has anybody figured out how the water is getting into your plug wells? i haven't washed my truck, and we haven't had any heavy rain and i believe my wells are soaked again because my truck is running like ass (will check tonight hopefully).
talli, the reason i mention you is that i put my temp sender for my elec fan in the same spot as you, but also like you don't see how that could be leaking any water? i'm lost..... |
have you pulled your intercooler out at all, or played with any hoses that are connected back there with your radiator?
When I pulled my intercooler out the hose clamp didn't go on all the way and the hose leaked, wasn't difficult to fix but thats what it was for me. |
yes i did, last summer, and after that was when the problem started... however, i haven't lost any intercooler coolant, i've been watching it.
and when are you gonna get on aim!!! |
water
water has been known to come from 3 places.
1) Where the coolant lines connect to the heater core, there have been some known leaks at these connections 2) Washing your engine down-does more bad than good 3) Where mine has come from- icing your intake at the track. Since the last time i changed my plugs, i know wrap the ice in heavy trash bags so there in no way water leaks anymore. Hope this helps....... |
