I raced an old lady with a walker. I pulled up to a stop light, and she was waiting to cross the street on the side walk. As soon as the light turned I left her in the dust. Man we have some fast trucks.

There nothin like beating a little 4 banger that thinks they're tough *****

you guys don't ahve any clue how fast those little srt-4 neons are do you?

a few mods, 12's.

since this was a prototype (manufacturers plate vehicle) it could have been testing tires or a VIPER ENGINE.

The good thing about living in Michigan is that you see the prototypes driving around all the time (every day)

when you can get them to stop, the drivers are usually forthcoming with all the mods on the vehicle and what they are testing.

RUMOR has it there is a F250 driving around Dearborn Michigan, It is a prototype.. NO big deal eh? Oh by the way it has the FORD GT drivetrain in it. I've seen it.

Some people... haven't a clue.

How dare you pick on a 4-banger? You should have let him win, and politely pull in behind him. After all, you're not in his class. You can only race factory production supercharged V8 trucks. I guess it's gonna be a while before you get a race, huh?

Squash the buzzing bugs!!! I'm gonna name my truck Raid!

I took satisfaction in wuppin up on a DCX engineer that got his azz handed to him racing an SVT product. It wasn't some teenager with a fart pipe. I didn't take the knife to the gunfight....He did! I drive a lightning. If I wanted a SVT focus I would have bought one.

I'm well aware of what those cars a capable of if moded. Do you know what was under the hood of that test car?

Sure, I can speculate it's a 4 cyl. It had a turbo. My rear window was open and could hear it.

Incase you didn't get the memo? It's SVT VS. SRT out on the street and track.....I guess I shouldn't have raced and beat all the F-bodys and vette's too. Since I'm not in their calss! But if the neon were running more boost and mods it would have been fair?

Exactly my point, but since a kill is a kill, I beat a 89-90 Honda CRX on the way home. It wasnt just any CRX, it had a big fart can, Lunar Tach and at least 3 pilar gauges

BigFan,

The only thing lame around here is your condescending attitude on the board. From what I hear, the way you drive your Lightning, a moped is right up your alley. Maybe a turbo beetle is too much! Maybe your better suited to being an Ostrich jockey? Who cares? I bet your pet armadillo can give you a race, giving you a head start.

You have your opinion and you're entitled to it. Know one here has to respect it! I hear your signed up for the next segment on the "Queer eye for the San Antonio guy" or something. Go mount, I mean, race your turbo beetle....

Moderator, I appologize for the attitude. This response was called for. Spured by a large consuption of beers this evening watching Hockey. Go Wings!

Too many wise AZZEZ here that feel the need to cloud this board with negetive replys towards other members, deserve to have it thrown back in their face.

Thanks and Happy Easter to all the supporting people on their replys.

By the way Big Fan. You still missed the point of the post. It wasn't about beating a 4cyl car. I'll give you that much of a hint. Others here have shown their comprehension skills by their replys. Sixth grade had you stumped?

I'll be installing a brake kit from TCE performance on a 02 Harley next week. Then I have the ss-trim on a 67 Dodge dart and an oldsmobile to work on.

I restore and polish classic car stainless trim on the side. Just finished a 63 Plymouth Savoy, stage#1 426 max wedge. You can call that busy I guess....lol

How's the truck running? Get that issue resolved we talked about?
Sounds like fun. Yep, sure did. Have my nitrous back in for the summer and cleaned my air filter. LOL..after cleaning that filter felt like a whole new motor.

I will race anything, no shame here. My g/f always make fun of me for racing civics. If they want some, I'll give it to them. But there was this one neon from back in the day before I had my lightning that was bad ***. Everytime that he raced someone at the street races, he stuck the logo of the car he beat on his back window. Needless to say, he could barely see out of his back window. Ford, Chevy, Dodge, Acura, etc. Moral of the story is, you never know what they have. Just race.
