Good luck man!! Its not in the owners manual. SVT doesn't know. (after 45 min. on the phone with them all they could tell me to do was buy a chiltons)3 dealers here in town don't know. (one service writer at Planet Ford didnt knwo what a L is) FMS (?) in Calif. doesn't know. (recomended to me by T.V. Ford here in Houston)

I just went through this same problem with mine. Never did find the damn relay. It turned out my pump went out anyways. Had to replace the pump now my resevoir (sp?) looks like a margarita machine!!!

BTW:
I see you got your chrome rims- Guess I should have taken you up on the trade while I had my chance. I still plan getting back in touch with you. Its just things like this damn pump come up!!!! $365 from Ford.

Looks Bad A@@!!!!!!

I dont know. Mine is a 99. It does not mention anywhere about it. Even Ford and SVT couldnt tell me. SVT had the wiring diagram and could tell me that there is one but not where its located. The diagram only showed wiring routes. Not where relays and fuses are actually located. I assume that why SVT told me to go by a Chiltons.
I guess I shouldnt say that its not in there because maybe it varies from year to year. As far as the 99's, I spent most of the day last Wed. trying to get a straight answer as to where its located. I still dont know, as it ended up being my pump anyways.

Here is a foto of John Fastruck at JDM. They pulled the relay and plugged in the jumper to run the pump continuously.

Ignore the two long wires. The "Horseshoe Wire" is the jumper installed in place of the relay.

Well then I guess that was my problem. If it said "not used", then i figured it wasnt used. Oh well glad to know its there and Ford considers it "not used". Thats very helpful when trying to figure out which relay it is.
