My Dream Lightning is almost finished (twin Turbo)
well I've spent all winter keeping my yap tight about my truck.
The Roll cage was done a few months ago by a shop in Detroit, along with the 4 link rear suspension.
I removed a LOT of weight from the truck...
Right now it is just over 4000 lbs!
The monster box was delivered in January, (thanks Gregg)
The lower end was built by Livernois in Detroit
And I added Twin Turbo's!
Last week LIVERNOIS fired it up for the first time and have been tuning the crap out of it since.
I don't want to reveal the numbers just yet, because it is EXTREMELY conservative, just breaking in the motor before they really turn up the bost
You have to plug your ears when the go WOT, this thing screams like a banshee in heat!
Only thing is that I am financing the entire project and I don't want to risk blowing it up the first few times at the track.
Eventually after everything is seated and the bigs are worked out, they want to turn up the boost and see what she'll do.
They have been in contact with a magazine (can't say which) to do a feature article on it.
As for current numbers:
Lets just say I skipped over the 400/500 club!
I have some video of it on the dyno and a ton of pictures of the entire process. I'm having a friend make a website to host the pics and vids.
